With the letterbox stainless steel B1 Big Shield we have integrated the proven newspaper compartment of our B1 letterbox systems into the letterbox.
In addition to the much easier removal of your mail and newspapers via a large removal door, this also offers increased moisture protection.
Both the letter slot and the slot for the newspapers are located on the top of the letterbox. A large closing flap prevents the ingress of water and guarantees a dry interior.
The newspaper compartment is spatially separated from the actual letterbox by a partition wall.
Both can be removed via the front door.
Depending on which type of stop you have chosen (lock on the left or right), open the letterbox via the lock on the left or right side.
The entire front panel acts as a door and swings to the desired side accordingly.
We deliver all letterbox systems with two keys as standard.
Front panel in black/silver look
The special feature of this letterbox stainless steel B1 Big Shield is its two-coloured front panel made of high-quality 2mm thick stainless steel.
The base plate on the front is powder-coated in RAL 7016.
A cross strip of stainless steel is screwed over it, which makes the system an optical highlight.
We use the latest laser technology to engrave both your name and house number in black on this horizontal strip.
With this method, the lettering is burned into the metal structure so that it is perfectly protected from external influences and weathering.
The cover plate has a total dimension of 500x450mm (WxH).
The complete body is made of 1.5mm thick polished stainless steel which forms an optical contrast to the black front panel.
The B1 Big letterbox system can be mounted on any house wall. It is fastened using the four screws and dowels supplied.
